Hands down…. Best dental office in Tidewater! Our family has been going to Dr. Richmond for over 20 years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. They are ALWAYS on time (unlike any other medical office we’ve been to)… typically waiting for us when we arrive. They respect our time. Efficiently run from the time you walk in the door until you check out. Dr. Richmond’s presence is calming which eliminates any stress! The entire staff is welcoming and eager to make you comfortable (no judgement). We’ve referred countless others to Dr. Richmond and they have all been super appreciative!

I can't begin to tell you how amazing this staff is. They are very friendly and professional. I hadn't seen a dentist in 16 years. This staff was so amazing and so welcoming. I was so nervous about coming but the staff made me feel so much at ease. I would recommend them to anyone. They are AMAZING!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Richmond for 31 years. All of my children love him, and they started seeing him when they were 3. He is very personable. He has called my home to check on me when I have had root canals to make sure I am doing okay. When I call with a tooth ache, his staff get me in the same day.

I received excellent care by Dr. Richmond and his staff. I was told by two other dentists that I needed a crown and that it couldn't be fixed by a filling. I went to Dr. Richmond to get another opinion. Within 1 hour of my appointment time, I was in a chair, received a consultation, and given a filling right then and there. He didn't even make me come back another day do the filling considering I was only there for an opinion! The procedure was quick and painless. Not only has he fixed my tooth pain, he saved me hundreds of dollars on an unnecessary procedure. Thank you Dr. Richmond!

So...after my wife got a pressure laden, used car sales pitch at one of the larger local dental chains (rhymes with swan I cough) for $5k+, we took a deep breath and brought their report to Dr. Richmond for a second opinion. He explained that the findings were technically correct, but that the recommended treatments were quite aggressive, and not immediately needed. He recommended a wait and see approach. Ultimately, several of the more expensive treatments were deemed unnecessary. The ones that were eventually needed, were done well and at, what I feel, was a fair price. Thank you Dr. Richmond.

Dr. Richmond has got to be one of the BEST Dentist in the area. I say this because I have been going to him for 28 years. I hear lots of people say how they don’t like their Dentist and how impersonal they are. Not Dr. Richmond, don’t get me wrong he doesn’t wear a Red Clown nose but just an all-around nice guy. I am very hard to get numb so Dr. Richmond who likes to read and do research started digging, he called me and said the next time you come in this is what I want you to do the day before. I followed his instruction and now he has no problem getting me numb and it’s not one of those that you stay numb for days and you are drooling. It’s gone in no time. His shots he does in such a way I don’t even feel them. His staff has that same great attitude always smiling and pleasant. If you need a Dentist Dr. Richmond should be your next stop
